1. About Old2New
Old2New ("we," "us," or "our") is a recipe transformation service operated from Arizona, United States. We help you convert your favorite comfort food recipes into healthier alternatives tailored to diets such as GLP-1, keto, and Mediterranean. Our website is old2new.app.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Old2New, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Old2New on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use Old2New. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others.
- Notify us immediately at admin@old2new.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
Old2New offers the following subscription plans:
- Free — 5 recipe transformations per month, at no charge. Promotional or beta periods may temporarily include additional free transformations.
- Plus — $14.99/month, 50 recipe transformations per month.
- Premium — $24.99/month, 150 recipe transformations per month.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Usage quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused transformations do not roll over. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at admin@old2new.app and we will review your case.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Old2New to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
- Circumvent usage limits or share accounts to exceed your plan's quota.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the service without our written consent.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
7. AI-Generated Content
You acknowledge that:
- Recipes, substitutions, nutritional estimates, and suggestions are generated by AI, and recipe images are generated by the OpenAI API.
- AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or unsuitable suggestions and should not be relied upon as factual or error-free.
- You are responsible for reviewing every recipe before cooking, including checking ingredients, allergens, cooking instructions, nutritional information, and food safety.
- Old2New makes no warranty that transformed recipes will meet any specific dietary or medical requirement.
- You alone are responsible for deciding whether a recipe is appropriate for you.
Nutritional information is estimated and should not be relied upon as exact values. If precise nutritional information is required for medical or dietary purposes, users should independently verify all nutritional values.
8. Medical Disclaimer
Consult your physician or another qualified healthcare professional before beginning any diet, nutrition program, or significant dietary change. This is especially important if you have diabetes, take GLP-1 medications, are pregnant, have food allergies, or live with any chronic medical condition.
Individual nutritional needs vary. A recipe that is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another depending on allergies, medications, age, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or other personal circumstances.
Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information generated by Old2New.
9. Your Content
When you submit recipes or content to Old2New, you retain ownership of that content. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of delivering recipe transformations to you.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property
The Old2New name, logo, interface, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our service without our prior written consent.
11. Third-Party Services
Old2New integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI recipe processing), OpenAI (AI image generation), Supabase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payments), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). Your use of these services through Old2New is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
12. Disclaimers
OLD2NEW IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
13. Limitation of Liability
You are solely responsible for deciding whether any recipe is appropriate for you. Old2New makes no guarantee regarding health outcomes, weight loss, nutritional accuracy, allergy safety, ingredient availability, or the suitability of any recipe for your individual medical condition. Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OLD2NEW AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Old2New and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Old2New after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or other conduct we determine to be harmful to Old2New or its users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in settings.
